With an arts degree and years of experience working in a fish store and servicing aquariums, he has probably done more water changes than most of us will in a lifetime. Aquarium Fertilizer
Hector is a good friend and I take pride in being an early adopter of his fertilizer. He created one of the best all in one aquarium fertilizers out there, complete with dechlorinator and water stabilizers. If you like my plants, they have been grown with Hector’s fertilizer. You can find his products in stores all over California or at local events, often at the table right next to us.

My favorite Dipnet
As a kid, I always needed a new dipnet for every holiday. As an adult and a fan of US native fish, I discovered “The Perfect Dipnet.” Normally I’m not a fan of names this grandiose, but in this case it is completely accurate. You can customize the size, mesh, and color. It comes with a protective aluminum frame and they even offer spare netting, making it built to last.
They also happen to be one of the best suppliers of US native fish, so definitely check them out if you love native species as much as I do.
